About the Pi Mu Epsilon Regional Mathematics Conference

Brief Description:   

  The Mathematics Conference is a gathering of students from the bay area meeting to network, share ideas, give presentations, learn about graduate schools, and hear presentations from professional speakers. The event is not only for math majors: the theme of the conference is "Applications of Mathematics", and will be aimed at exploration of mathematical topics pertaining to technology, the health sciences, physical sciences, life sciences, business, economics and other fields of study.

Who is the conference for?

The conference is for any student who is interested in the way math is applied in his or her field.  This is not limited to only math majors, but is open to students of all majors.  Math is used everywhere: physics, economics, biology, business and more!

Can I attend just one part of the conference that I'm interested in?

Yes.  Come and go as you please.

Should I register even if I'm not sure if I will go?
